Contracted Management Service
This service provides a blend of on site and off site support. The service is usually used where the customer has a medium-large business and UKAS certification. Customers may also need more demanding certifications such as EN9100 Aerospace Quality or IATF16949 Automotive Quality Management Service.
The service is therefore more in-depth and involved, with UKQMS usually taking the role of Quality Manager for the business.
Special Projects
There are occasions where a business, medium or large has a significant quality problem and needs a multifaceted programme of activity to resolve the issues.
These often include large volume customer non-conformities, increasing customer dissatisfaction, internal non-conformities, requirements issues, configuration and control problems and measurement capability issues.
UKQMS have experience in tackling these issues and can provide support to businesses when times get tough!
BMS HUB "NEW"
This new service uses our latest Management System model that has been proven to deliver excellent results in our contracted customer areas.
We are now offering limited places to support smaller businesses who need ISO9001 but have not got the experience or resources to get to the standard. We offer support as well as the system to make sure you get there and quickly !
CNC Machine Capability Assessment - Renishaw Ball Bar
With many thousands of CNC turning and milling machines in use, most companies provide some degree of service and general maintenance.
However few ever measure how well the machine is performing when it moves along its axes.
CNC machines vary (everything varies to some extent), but you put your trust in the machine to do so consistently. Motors, drive shafts, beds, tool heads, can and do, suffer from small errors, risking the product becoming non-conforming. When this happens the root cause is difficult to find.
It is important therefore to have machines checked using the Renishaw Ballbar, ultra precise sub-micron measuring device that tells you how well the machine is performing and what needs correcting.
Training - Quality and Improvement
We offer on site training in various quality and improvement tools and techniques, such as problem solving, ISO9001 awareness, EN9100 awareness and the key improvement tools and techniques including measurement system analysis.
We can tailor training to meet specific business requirements as a package of training or a one off customised course.
